"The earth laughs in flowers": Easter Quotes & Inspiration

Winter is giving way to spring in the Northern Hemisphere, and as it does, writes Ralph Waldo Emerson, "The earth laughs in flowers."

The timing is so beautiful and welcome.

Just as we are wearied unto death of the cold, daffodils, tulips, and bluebonnets laugh it away.

That's a perfect way to think of Easter, too: Easter laughs death away altogether and for good.

Emerson's quote is one of many I assembled for your preaching and personal reflections this Eastertide.
